THE BEST INKJET ON THE MARKET = EAGLE

	The Eagle Series® was introduced at Pack Expo West 97 in Las Vegas. It is a low-cost inkjet system that can print maximum resolution messages on porous or non-porous substrates. It is an exciting replacement for many high-cost CIJ systems, "hi-res" systems, valve-jet systems, and Siemens-based small character systems. Depending upon the application, the Eagle is often priced lower, yet it offers the best print quality in the industry. The Eagle Series® serves a very broad cross-section of the market from carton coding to non-porous item marking with text, graphics, and bar coding. The Eagle's printhead uses the XaarJet 128-jet piezo print engine. Each printhead will print either porous or non-porous ink over a swath that is 0.7 inches (18mm) high. From one to eight lines of text can be printed from one printhead as well as bar codes, graphics and variable data. Each printhead can print 200 dpi horizontal resolution at speeds up to 200 feet per minute and the system is expandable from one printhead to up to 4 printheads from one controller. Each printhead has a vertical resolution of 185 dpi. We have trademarked our truly high resolution printing technology MAXres®.

Inks

Porous Substrates

1. Odessa Family

Oil based, pigmented. Very low maintenance. Excellent for corrugated and paper. Available in pigmented black (great barcodes on corrugated) cyan, magenta, and yellow.

Non-Porous Substrates

1. Alpine Family

Standard and Extended Dry. Our most popular non-porous ink. Allows easy changes for seasonal conditions. Very good density on clay coats. Good for plastics, extrusions. Available in black, cyan, magenta, yellow. Colors available include blue, green, orange and red. Others can be prepared upon special order.

2. Llano Family

Quick dry times. Good for wide variety of substrates including plastics, metals, glass, clay coats. Available in black, cyan, magenta, and yellow.

3. Del Rio Family

Standard and Extended Dry. Very good for most plastics, glass, and painted surfaces. Available in opaque white and yellow and UV-visible (black light).
